This picture was taken in the mountains west of Ozamiz City. We rode piggyback on motorcycles up rugged dirt trails to a remote church up in the mountains.
It sure was beautiful up there, well worth the rough trip. I had my first and until now, my only ride on a carabao.
Illigan Bay
Beach a few kilometers north of Ozamiz on Illigan Bay.

Tinago Falls
This was the most beautiful place I went to on my trip. We had to walk down the side of a mountain to reach the lagoon at the bottom of the falls. The spray of water on your face, crystal clear water and tall trees reaching back up to the sky, it was great.
We brought our lunches and cooked fish over a fire. I had no plans to swim when we left Happy House to go here, but when I saw the beauty of this place I had to jump in for a swim.
The undertow from the falls was stronger than I had expected and made swimming difficult.
This place reminds me of a movie that I have seen.
