Chris Turley passed this heart warming story along about the need to be cautious in drinking water in the Himalayas. Okay, not heartwarming, and its not a place I am going to travel (I believe), but it gets deep down into the sagas of traveling!

On the internet they call travel journals travelogues. You can search on 'travelogue' and find alot of links. Otherwise a great place to find them is at Rec.Travel Library and Travel-L Discussion of Travel Experiences. One person that keeps popping up is Sean Conolly who has great tales and put alot of effort into putting his journals on the internet. A couple of others are Around-the-World Journal (A 9-month trip through 26 countries) by Russell Gilbert and Johannesburg to Nairobi and Fiji Travelogue (with links to New Zealand and Australia).
