BLACKY, THE STORY

When I was leaving the country and flying via Los Angeles to visit family and friends, I visited my friend's Claude and Melinda's daughter's third grade class. Ms. Paulson, the teacher, was immediately on to an idea when she heard I was starting an around the world trip. She asked if Blacky could join us and I agreed to take a few pictures along the way. I have (so far), sent a few rolls of film to the class and have published some to the web. Blacky is a good conversation piece, an especially good ice breaker at times. People who meet Blacky adore him!
