My name is Sonya Rivera, and I was born on the beautiful island of St.Croix, in the United States Virgin Islands.. My grandfather came to the Virgin Islands from Vieques Puerto Rico, like so many other Puerto Ricans at that time looking for employment.. I am a very proud Puerto Rican even though I was not born on the mainland, I love my culture! (As you can see.) I am still in High School, and am aspiring to become an Environmental Attorney.
Besides my interest in the field of law, I am very actively concerned in the current problems of our beloved Vieques. I am also a singer/model/dancer whose biggest dream is to one day perform on the same stage with Marc Anthony!!!! Keep checking my site as I update it!! Lots more on the way.
