Hot Fun in the "Summa" Time

This page is dedicated to having fun during the summer months. I like to travel quite a bit, and I'm not opposed to getting my "groove" on on occasion. The main purpose is to enjoy life to the fullest, regardless of what the situation is. I think the biggest mistake that people make is to not live life to the fullest. Seize the day!! There are no guarantees, and no retakes. Tomorrow is promised to no one. This is not a dress rehearsal! If you sleepwalk through life working and worrying, you'll miss all the wonderful things life has to offer. One of the best quotes I've ever heard came from a movie. It exemplifies this this belief to the fullest. The Quote is "I think it pisses God off to walk through an entire field of  and not notice the color Purple" All I'm saying is you get ONE shot at this life... try to get it right! One of my favorite things it cruising.... and I don't mean the bars!! I try to take a cruise at least once every two years. It opens the window of the world! I have a "crew" of traveling buddies... my "road dawgs" who roll with me.

This is one of my best friends, Robert. He and I have done so many things together, you'd think we're brothers! In fact, my kids call him "Uncle Robert". We take cruises in the summer, and go skiing in the winter months.

Another one of my closest frinds is Gary. Now you think I get MY clown on, you should see this one!(you see who he jumped in front of!) This boy is off the hook! We spend so much time laughing between the three of us, it seems hard to believe we carry on serious conversations! Talk about a gifted Grahpics Designer... this boy has got MADD skills!

This is a pic of me caught with a piece of food hanging out of my mouth in a restaurant named Los Ranchos in Miami. If you ever get down to Miami, go there.... some of the best food you could imagine! Once we got on the ship, the fun REALLY started! If you've never had the pleasure of cruising, do it at least ONCE in your life... I promise you, you will not regret it!

This picture of Rob and I was taken while climbing the Dunns River Falls in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. This cruise, on the cruise ship Magesty of the Seas took us from Miami, to Haiti, to Ocho Rios, to the Grand Cayman Islands, to Cozumel, Mexico and back.

This was a typical scene throughout the entire cruise... Rob gettin his drink on! Notice how he's representin' the WESSSSIIIIDDDEEE!!! (throwin' up the "W") This was a theme throughout the entire cruise! We had everybody on the ship representin'!

This was a couple we were seated with on the cruise... Robert and Joyce Mack. This is how a married couple should be! We grew so fond of them that we started referring to them as our "cruise parents". When I get married (God knows then that is!), I hope to be HALF as happy as this pair. They were and are incredible people!!

Here I am representin' in the club that's aboard the ship one night, gettin my "Virgin Peach Dacquiri" drink on.... seeing that I dont drink, this is about as stiff a drink I'll get... although Rob thought he was gonna be slick and buy me an alcoholic strawberry marguarita! Like I wasn't gonna taste the rum in it... DUH!!

Here's a shot of Robert, our friend Alyce, and myself, right after going snorkling in the Grand Caymans. Alyce was afraid of the water in he beginning, but after taking swimming lessons, she swam like a fish! There's no doubt she'll be cruising again!!

This photo was taken on one of the beaches in Cozumel, Mexico. The water is blue and jet-skiing is aplenty. We had a good time at Bob Marley Bar located there. Reggae blares across the beach while natives and tourists guzzle brews from around the world.

God only knows what we were laughing about in this picture, but this was an everyday occurance... at every meal! We had such a good time, we had folks from other tables come over to tell us how much fun they had watching US have fun!

Here's the entire gang in a group photo. Keep in mind that we'd only met the two couples in the center of this pic at our table on the cruise! From the left, Myself, Alyce, Ron, Carlas, Joyce, Robert, Deidra, and Robert. This was taken after one of the Formal Dinners hosted on the ship.

Even after 3 days of no sleep in Miami's Party Central.... South  Beach, and another 7 days of nonstop, full tilt action and fun on the ship, here we are, me and my dawg... TIRED AS HELL.... but we still represents the West Coast to the fullest! Our philosophy is "If you gon' get down, you gots to get ALLLLLL the way down!"

That's how we do it.... you got to be able to run with the big dawgs to hang with us!

Another thing we like to do while at home is get our clown on in a slightly different format. Here, let me explain.... when we throw a party, let me tell you... we throws a PARTAY!! At this one, we had to go retro and represent the '70's at the....                                                     '70's Party!!
