LYN BUCHANAN - CONTROLLED REMOTE VIEWING The November lecturer at the International UFO Museum in Roswell was Lyn Buchanan. The lecture was titled "The Use of Controlled Remote Viewing (CRV) to Address the UFO Question". Mr. Buchanan is retired from the U.S. Army where his last assignment was with project STAR GATE which dealt with Controlled Remote Viewing protocols and methodologies. Mr. Buchanan discussed the history of CRV as a scientific method that is structured and formal. In this method, viewers are able to psychically view remote, both in distance and time, locations and activities with a reasonable degree of accuracy. The Army project was originally used to view foreign missile sites and research areas. According to Lyn, no one knows the source of the information but it has been suggested that it is a type of genetic memory. In an untrained individual, the information from the source enters the subconscience of the viewer. The viewer uses filters like imagination, memories, fears, and desires to communicate the information to the conscious mind using the body as a go between. But trained viewers have the ability to get the information directly from the source to the conscious mind without it being changed. The trained viewer experiences a progressive physical awareness of the target moving through levels of complexity to reach dimensional awareness, relationships, and conceptual information about the target. Various trained viewers have researched the UFO question using this process. One such individual, Pat Price, viewed four extraterrestial bases on Earth. Each base was located underground in isolated mountain ranges, and each had a specific purpose but all the bases worked together. The sites mentioned were in northern Spain, in Zimbabwe, Mt Hayes in Alaska, and Mt Ziel in the Northern Territory of Austrailia. The results of this CRV session were either classified or destroyed by the U.S. govenrment. CRV is very difficult to understand for the layman. Several books have been written about the subject. Psychic Warrior by David Morehouse is a good starting point. Mr. Morehouse was also a viewer in project STAR GATE. He discusses the project and the process of CRV in great detail and also how his involvement in STAR GATE changed his life. It is a fascinating book that will give you a good background in CRV. It is now available in paperback. You can check it out at amazon.com by clicking below. PSYCHIC WARRIOR Another book that I read is Cosmic Voyage by Courtney Brown. The author was not a part of project STAR GATE but learned the process of CRV for someone who was. He has gone on to start his own CRV training Program in Virginia. In this book, Mr. Brown explores in some detail alien bases and civilizations both on Earth and on Mars. I found the book to be very interesting. It made me want to learn more about CRV. Fact or fantasy? You will have to be the judge. Read other readers' comments by clicking below. COSMIC VOYAGE Mr. Buchanan has a web site that is very interesting. He also gives classes in CRV; however, the web site contains some beginners training sessions and some blind targets for practice. You may reach Lyn's site by clicking here.
