"Burt Bacharach played What's New Pussycat? for me and I didn't know what
the hell it was about. He asked if I could sing it and I said I don't think so -
I couldn't fathom it out! This big music publisher was there and all the
colour drained from his face! And it's Bacharach, and me going, 'I don't
think so'! But I went into the studio and we took four hours to record the
one song. And when I listened to it back I thought, yeah, there's something
there. That's life - you live and you learn."
