Sitting along Ala Moana Blvd and Ward Avenue, the Victoria Ward Centers have been a Honolulu fixture for many years. With over 180 shops and restaurants there is no shortage of sites and sounds at the Victoria Ward Centers. Some of O'ahu's most classiest restaurants are located within the Victoria Ward Centres.
Victoria Ward Centers are divided up into several portions spanning several city blocks. The divisions are Ward Centre and Ward Warehouse which sit on Ala Moana Blvd. Mauka side of Ward Centre and Ward Warehouse are the Ward Village Shops and Ward Farmer's Market. Further Mauka of Farmer's Market is the Ward Gateway Center which sits on Ward Avenue. The Gateway Center is home to the Sports Authority. Most of the action at Ward Center is focused at Ward Warehouse and Ward Center.
Ward Center is home mainly to restaurants and more higher class shops. Most notable at Ward Centre is Border's Books and Music. Many top local musicians have their CD release parties at the Ward branch of Borders. | |
Ward Warehouse is home to many shops with a few restaurants. You'll find a variety of cute shops at the Ward Warehouse. A notable restaurant at Ward Warehouse is Kincaid's Fish, Chop and Steak House on the 2nd floor of Ward Warehouse. Kincaid's is a popular restaurant which also features some of the very best in local entertainment. A few doors down are the Old Spaghetti Factory, a favorite among the younger crowd, and Stuart Anderson's, a local favorite steak house. |
If you're driving out of Waikiki you can get to Ward Center by getting back 'Ewa bound on Kalakaua Avenue and just follow the road. It will eventually pass in front of Ward Center after you pass Ala Moana. It will be on your right hand side. Take a right on either Kamake'e Street or Ward Avenue and then take another right onto 'Auahi Street. You can park for free at Ward Centre.
If you're catching the bus, take the #19, 20 and 47 city bus routes on Kuhio Avenue as they will go by Ward Center. Ask the bus driver to let you off at Ward Center
Or, you can catch the Waikiki Trolley or the Honolulu City Tour Trolley.
