Pass your Holiday in a small farm near the sea

Our Farm of Fortune (Quinta da Fortuna) is situated north-east of Faro, the capital of the Algarve, and only 25 minutes by car from Faro Airport. The farm is situated in an exclusive location, away from the mainstream tourism, enjoying the hilly landscape of the Sotavento and with beautiful views to the sea.
Our farm is a good starting point for walks or for a swim, boat-trips and undertaking excursions to get know the original Portuguese life style.
The coast-line is varied. In the eastern part of the Algarve there are long sandy beaches, dunes and lagoons. To the west you will encounter a stony coastline and deep valleys.
In few minutes, by car, you will reach one of the numerous sandy beaches or the off-shore islands, which you can easily reach by regular boat-travel (e.g. in Fuzeta a small fishermen's village 8 kilometers from us).
Do you like nature, animals and plants? Do you like wild-romantic and undisturbed country-life? Or do you just want to experience holidays on a farm without stress?
Then you will feel comfortable with us.
We offer you unspoiled nature , many animals and a small plant-nursery with native and exotic plants.
On our Quinta you have the advantage of staying in natural countryside without disturbing neighbors; but nevertheless being near civilization, culture or the beach.
You can choose between different accommodations. We offer two lovely furnished guest-rooms divided by a large shared bathroom each with a separate entrance. One of the two guestrooms enjoys a big balcony with view to the sea.
You also can choose to stay on our small, fully fenced camping site using a tent of your own or our caravan. The camping-place has its own sanitary facilities: two shower-rooms and two WC`s.
For all our guests we offer a kitchen, where you can serve yourself, and a big living-room with a sun-terrace. This all is located within our Estate".
If you wish to work as little as possible during your holiday, you can always choose to experience our rich farmhouse breakfast.
We rent with the main emphasis on: „Holidays for women", therefore single or together traveling women can also feel comfortable with us and very welcome.
