MESSAGE…. BORED?
10th December 2000
Hi there everyone! im in Phnom Penh right now. I'm having an amazing time. This country is so amazing, ive seen temple ruins at ankor, taken a bizarre ride on a small train, been driven around everywhere on the back of a motorbike, visited killing fields and a khmer rouge prison camp that was gut wrenching, and danced the night away in this amazing city. What else can I say. only nine more days in se asia, so i'd better make the most of it. Adios!!

RECENT MESSAGE FOUR – 30th July 1999
Well, hello there! Yes it´s been more than a while, but there has been quite a bit going on, but I´m in Iceland today, leaving for Sweden tomorrow, and I´ve finally got some quality computer time to do some serious updating, and I must say I´m pretty much up to date now. How am I going? Tired to be honest, but I´m still alive. There have been a few changes to the itinerary. You may notice I ended up in the Czech Republic instead of going to Spain, and I will be, probably, visiting Finland and Estonia a bit later on. So the trip is a little extended. A special hallo to anyone I´ve met travelling, to Neel, Ian, Rob, Christian, Catherine, Mike, Eleanor, Kate, Sean, Liz, Erin, Raj and anyone else. Well, you do meet people when you travel! Hope all is well wherever you are. Done sections five and six and hopefully some work on reflections, so read on!
ciao, andyroo
RECENT MESSAGE THREE : 29/5
G'day to everyone out there checking out my webpage. Yes, it's been a while since I've added to the page but now you have the rest of Russia and all of Egypt which is quite a bit indeed. I'm in France at the moment, on my way to Barcelona tomorrow. How am I? I'm okay, but got the coughs a bit. That's travelling for you. I'm sure the spanish weather will fix that all up.
I hope whoever you are, wherever you are you are having a wonderful time and making the most of everything that comes your way. I also apologise for the total cheesiness of that last comment. For me, the food has been progressively better, and it's time for a little diary extract from the 15th of April, on my second day in Alexandria, Egypt……..
I was up just in time to sample the hostel's breakfast. Two pieces of carboard bread, a bolied egg, fig jam and some spicy bean stew that didn't deserve one of the five tastes I gave it.
Well, i will say the breakfast in Rome was no better, just one rock hard roll that was kinda, well; hollow. But that's another story…… all the best till next time,
ciao, Andrew.

Well, time for a new message. Here I am in St Petersburg, Russia and I must say it's an amazing, impressive city. India was difficult but I survived and Denmark is an wonderful, beautiful little haven where i nearly froze to death bicycling 30+ km around a lake.
Here is Russia the beer is 17.5% alcohol, so it is much easier to get drunk, the architecture is both amazing and apocalyptic and it is not nearly as dull as impressions given to the west may suggest. My health has nearly returned to normality after a bit of sickness in India, and there has been quite a temperature change, however it has been quite sunny if only 6 degrees celcius. Well must go, hope everyone is well!!!!

Hello to all and sundry,
Firstly an apology for not updating my site, until now that is. Some
information on Thailand should appear sooner or later.
At present you can find me in Udaipur, India. People may have seen
parts of this town in the James Bond film Octopussy, which features the
Lake and Monsoon Palaces from this town.
You may be wondering a few things about me :
1/ Am I still alive? (Yes, yes I am)
2/ Am I spending more than I planned to? (Yes but not too much)
3/ have I had any trouble with the food? (Yes again, but not too much)
4/ What HAVE you been up to?
Well, in Thailand I swam, rode on an elephant, bought a watch that
broke, did NOT get stung by a jellyfish and ate mainly chicken and
pork with noodles and rice.
In India I have met, stayed with and played cricket with locals,
feared for my life on buses with kamikazee drivers, ate a LOT of dal,
laughed all day in Delhi and generally enjoyed the cooler weather.
I hope everyone reading this message is well and having a good time.
