Behind the Scenes in BS4!

Before Season:
Roselin sent messages to ally with everyone, and infact she allied with 12 people, before realizing she didn’t mean to be their allies, just to trick them into thinking that. She dropped out of all alliances but a defensive one on day one.
Pre-Season training was very successful, most players trained in a skill.
Brandon received 1000gp from Mark and Scother
Philippi received 1000gp from Mark
Merlena gave 100gp to Treeleaf.
Bella received 3000gp from Flashtail
A few people tried to attack early
Maplepaw received 2500gp from Mark
Briar gave Glokkpod and Thunderpaw 1000gp each.

Day ONE:

Maplepaw had Brandon assassinated.

Keeneye, the only unequipped player was second to die, killed by Thunderpaw and his allies.

Flashtail had Piketail assassinated.

Flashtail and Bella tried to kill Mark.

In a clash of alliances, Bella initiated an attack on Rath Keenblade. Bella, Treeleaf, Briar Rose, Matthias, Sabriel, Glokkpod, Philippi and Flashtail mob attacked Rath and his ally Thunderpaw. Both Rath and Thunderpaw were killed in the attack, the two links between the two alliances were Maplepaw and Roseline, who could not attack either side because of their alliances with Bella and Rath.

Also, Bella attacked Merlena with her allies, a 9 to 1 battle in which Merlena was able to slay Bella’s mercenary.

Glokkpod and her allies killed Talon the ferret, who was killed by a rock bomb.

Glokkpod attempted to kill Mysty. Roselin’s tunneling helped Mysty escape.

In an attack initiated by Glokkpod, Glokkpod’s alliance killed Treerose after Treerose killed Glokkpod.

Cliff and his allies killed Treeleaf, but not before Treeleaf could kill Matthias. But before his death, Matthias managed to turn Briar Rose’s mercenary against her in the battle with his subterfuge skills, but the mercenary was killed before it could do any harm to Briar. Briar Rose and her allies kill Mark.

Briar Rose gave Mysty, Brockblood, and Roselin 1000gp each.

Sabriel was killed in a skillful underground attack from the now-solo Roselin. Sabriel’s spirit avenged her death by killing Roselin’s wolf mercenary.

DAY 3: (DAY 2 THERE WERE NO UPDATES)

Flashtail and her mercenary attacked Treeclimber, using her subterfuge Flashtail managed to turn the odds of numbers in her favor, using Treeclimber’s own mercenary against her.

Brockblood had Mysty assassinated.

Flashtail and her merc killed Scother. Scother did however manage to kill Flashtail’s mercenary.

Cliff and his allies killed Flashtail.

Flashtail left her Confusing Crossbow to Roselin and her Rapid Axe Pike to Philippi in her will.

Cliff tried to kill Roselin, but she escaped via tunnel.
Maplepaw had Treeflyer poisoned.
Cliff’s mercenary killed Brockblood with the ballista.
Briar Rose achieved revenge for her ally, Treeleaf, by assassinating Cliff using three assassins. However, Cliff’s spirit stole all of Briar Rose’s gold.
Bella withdrew from any alliance offers made to Roselin and killed her with her alliance including Philippi, Maplepaw, and Briar Rose.
Roselin left her bolas to Briar Rose and her money to be divided among all players in her will, which gave 600gp to the five remaining players after her killer got most of her gold.

Bella and her allies killed Frostfur the wolf. Frostfur had revenge by stealing all of Bella’s weapons!

At this point the final four are all that remains. They each received an email identical to the congratulations note below, which was also posted to these creatures in the forum:

Congratulations! You are one of the final four BS4 members alive and are now competing for points! All emails you may have sent since the last death have been deleted as the board is reset for final four battle. You will have a period of one day to make any purchases you wish, then on January 30, 2002 you may begin sending emails to attack your opponents. You may not hire any more poisoners or assassins. ALSO, ALL ALLIANCES MUST BE RESTATED AT THIS POINT! Congratulations once again. Pawflash

DAY 6: (An off day on the 29th and the forum was down on the 30th)

Bella killed Philippi, but Philippi’s spirit had the ultimate revenge, slaying Bella as she slept.
