FICTIONAL HEROES

On this page I'll tell you about some fictional heroes I admire. I've loved reading Disney comics since I was 7 or 8 and a few years ago I discoved that Silver Surfer comics are pretty cool, too.

Donald Duck

It's easy to identify with him. He's just like anyone of us - trying his best to be a good person, raise the kids, please his girl friend Daisy and to succeed in life. Though trying his best, he fails pretty often and in a funny way. These human features in him fashinate me... At the same time he's a comic superstar and a usual guy (or should I say a duck).

Robin Hood

Nobody knows if Robin Hood was a real person in the Middle Ages. He might have existed, but most likely he wasn't exatcly what Disney stories present him to be. As a fictional character he's a perfect example of a brave and moral person, tho. He steals from the rich and gives the money to the poor, who really need it. He doesn't do this for reputation, but because he really cares for people.

Silver Surfer

He comes from a planet called Zenn-La. It used to be a peaceful planet until evil Galactus occupied it. A young man called Norrin Radd volunteers to get transferred into Silver Surfer and try to save the planet. He must leave his girl friend before he begins his mission saying " I have seen the birth of planets, and death of worlds. I've seen galaxies crumble and new suns aborning. But in every star and every sun I see your face." Silver Surfer comics are much more than just usual action space stories, they really make you think about life and everything.
