Spamming My opinion on this issue depends on what you mean by spamming. I do like most forwarding messages, especially quotes and jokes. But commercial spamming is another thing - it certainly doesn't encrease my willingness to buy the producys which spam messages talk about. Missionaries Many people in so called Third World need help due to the lack of food, diseases, inadequate housing etc. If missionaries are the ones who want and are able to help people in difficult circumstances, I think they're doing exactly what is needed to be done. But if the "help" is all about preaching Bible and spreadibg the word, their work is in my opinion very questionable. Everybody should have a right to choose what to believe. The right is violeted if you can't get your daily food without hearing some threaths about hell. Animal Testing Needless pain shouldn't be caused to any living creature in the world - that's one thing I strongly believe in. But if you've gotta choose between the suffering of humans and the suffering of animals, I would choose the animals to suffer. By this I mean that if animals are needed to test a medicine, which is to cure humans in the future, I think the medicine should be tested on animals. Would you prefer dieing to getting well throiught a medicine tested on animals? I wouldn't. Teeth Braces I've nothing againsts straightening teeth in general. If you think you're going be happier with straight teeth than with crooked ones, that's fine. I appreaciate your decicion and I'll be happy for you if you're satisfied when the straightening is done. But one think I don't approve of is forcing kids to have their looks changed without asking their opinion first or persuating them to have it done without letting them choose themselves. Various things can be beautiful, not just the perfect ones. "Beauty is is the eye of the beholder" - is one of my favorite sayings.
