The attractions are too numerous to list here, but there are lots of things to see in Mazatlan. 400 year old churches, bull fights, Mayan Indain shows, and places to dance if you care too. If you're ever there, book a couple of tours, they're fun, informative and interesting. I went on the city tour, Stone Island, and a tour to the Sangre De Cristo Mountains (I think that's what they're called). If you happen to be there in March there is FIESTA MEXICANA, the biggest celebration of the year. I'm told it's the Mexican version of Mardi Gras. |
Places to See

You can just barely see it, but there's a heart shaped area that extends out towards the ocean. This is a good place for couples to visit in the evening. |

These are Friends.... NOT FOOD!

I was surprised how close you could get to them. They're not afraid at all. I was going to pet him but was afraid I'd get bit. You can find my little buddy at the local Aquarium. |

Can you see it? Somebody had to point it out to me after I got home. It's kind of strange too, because every morning at daybreak I went to be beach to say a little prayer. This morning was the only day I didn't make it. Must of had something to do with that Fiesta I went to the night before. I think the big guy was trying to tell me he missed me that morning. |
Next week: Cancun!
