The Beach
The Beach
The beaches in Mazatlan were as good a beach as you would find anywhere along the pacific coast. The water was warm enough to swim in and the sand is relatively free of rocks so if you want to make a sand castle, it's perfect! The cool mornings only required a jacket if you want to take a walk along the beach. It stretches for miles, so you could take a little run too if you felt like it. Despite the city being close to the beach, it was scerene and peaceful. I spent hours on the beach sunning myself, or drying off after swimming, or just watching the surfers, boaters, and fisherman.

This is an area where lots of people sail, kayak to bird island just off the coast, or parasail. Boats and kayaks can be rented for the day. I took this picture from a restaurant while I was eating lunch.

This was taken from the street level right which is built above the beach. You can't really see the beach but it gives you an idea of the kind of vew you have from the beach.
