The inner Me!

People say I'm talented, creative, intelligent, compassionate, attractive, with a great sense of humour. I'm someone who loves kids and animals and dislike those who laugh at the expense of others. I also like the theatre (used to be in opera and choir concerts) and enjoy travelling. Last but not least, I'm an avid reader and a Star Trek fan! Would love to discuss fantasy and sci-fi with people....among other things! My hobbies include singing, dancing, music, rollerblading, scuba diving, painting T-shirts, sailing, balloon sculpting and anything that enriches my life!

My Philosophy in Life

A long time ago, when I was a child, I read this book called The Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley. In it, different groups of people were fighting over the best way to reach the mythical city of Avalon. Years of strife and bloodshed coloured the life of the inhabitants of this world. Then one day, a child finally exclaimed, "Why are you fighting over the best way to Avalon, when you're all aiming for the same place?" Thus was formed my philosophy in life........ I think that all the religions in the world are but different streams and rivers flowing into the same great ocean. Whichever river you choose to follow will expose you to different trials, tribulations and scenery, but ultimately, the goal is the same - GOD.

This is the final pose of my one and only dance competition. As you can see, we won first prize! Our only male member had the honour (misfortune?) of carrying each one of us in various poses. He also tore our fish net stockings specially bought from Australia - oh, not with his hands - his belt buckle was the culprit! Now where did I put my trophy?
