ImagineAklan began its journey a little over a year ago (June of 1999). The page was created by a twenty-something who had nothing else to do, but waste time on the net. At first, there were no concrete plans or goals or reasons, aside from being a part of the greater internet community. Either that or I simply wanted to try my creative lot.
The first version of this page was dedicated to my friends and family...a typical personal page per se with loads of photographs, poems, stories, and so forth. However, as time wandered on, I had another epiphany. Why not create a page dedicated to my hometown or better yet, a page that somehow encompasses the whole of Aklan. The one that include links to other Aklan related sites.
Now came the second and the most current version
ImagineAklan(AklanTimes).
With this site, links to other Aklan pages will be added
as well as photographs, stories, poems from other individuals. If you have an Aklan related site, photos, or stories you want to share, please submit it to AKLANLINKS. |
