Welcome to the Commodities and Futures Trading Library

Below are a few of the books I have in my own reference library which I hope you may find useful in your continuing education as a Trader. For your convenience I have included a very brief review of the material and an image link to Amazon.com should you wish to read additional reviews or place an order.

coverThe Futures Game: Who Wins, Who Loses, & Why
This excellent and comprehensive guide (676 pages) by Teweles and Jones would be my first choice as the perfect introduction to these markets for the serious novice.

cover  The New Options Advantage
Dave Caplan specializes in options and the many strategies that can be constructed using them. He explains dozens of different kinds of spreads, and continues on through straddles, strangles, and more. He properly emphasizes the critical importance of volatility and how using high or low volatility positions can give a theoretical edge when either buying or writing options.

cover  Winner Take All
Appropriately subtitled "A Brutally Honest and Irreverent Look at the Motivations and Methods of Top Traders",  William Gallacher gives his wise, and always entertaining, personal insights from twenty plus years as a commodities trader.
cover Mastering Commodity Futures & Options
In concluding his very well written book on futures (options receive secondary treatment), George Kleinman gives his "25 Trading Secrets of the Professionals". Although some of these amount to just good, if uncommon, trading sense, it is no wonder that this book got 5 solid stars from every Amazon reviewer.
