Ixtapa is located on the northwest Coast of the State of Guerrero, 250 kilometer up the coast from Acapulco. Ixtapa means in Nahuatl (the native mexican language) place of the “white sands”. Over the years it has grown into one of the most popular and exclusive Turist centers in Mexico. It was build in 1975 along a 2.5 miles beach called palmar at the open waters of the pacífic ocean. Ixtapa counts with 3 Shopping Malls, two 18 Hole Golf Curses and a Marina that can shelter 600 Yachts.
