SUNKOSHI
Day
1:
Drive from Kathmandu to Khadichaur, the first day
rafting starting point- so scenic and panoramic driving.
After arrival our chef will prepare Lunch and guides
will prepare the rafts and kayaks- your hand is
necessary. Get set and be attention to our guides'
briefing about paddling and safety talk. Then paddles
starts dancing rhythmically- paddle forward, backward.
On the first day we have only III class rapids i.e.
launching exercise for the first day because we are
going to have real hard day tomorrow. Drive back to
Baseri(further up from the starting point), camp set at
the place of peace and tranquility. Enjoy the camp fire
and Nepali Ghorle singing with dance having local made
raksi. |
Day
2:
After having Breakfast, we explore down in dread
encountering with challenge of V class rapids "Frog on
the Blinder", "Midnight Express" and numerous IV class
rapids. Len your body and paddle harder and faster with
tremendous energy because "Wall" and "Cave" are hissing
towards us. The scenery of the different mountains, the
villa, forest and Nepali ethno cultural life is so
marvelous and fantastic. Monotonously, we are giving up
paddling at the Lamasangu Dam and drive back to
Kathmandu.

Day
1:
We meet in our sales counter in Pokhara at 6.30 AM with
your light bag-packs and start driving to Baglung
Nayapul(3hrs. driving). Our chefs will prepare the Lunch
and our guides prepare rafts and kayaks. Your help will
be always appreciated and needed as well whether
paddling in the rapid or at the camp.
Be ready to listen to our leaders briefing about
paddling and safety matter. Get set- paddle forward
because the biggest rapid(class 4+) of this river "Small
Brother" is coming on head. Immediately we will have
another same leveled rapid " Bigbrother" to be
encountered with its challenge. Paddle down and take
happy breeding till our camp but still on the way to our
camp there are so many constant III+ rapids. Onload the
raft and fix the camp at Modi Dovan. Enjoy the night and
camp fire.
Day
2:
After a few minutes of rafting we encounter with IV
class rapid"Morning Rapid" and paddle down to the next
camp facing numerous rapids. T |
he
whole day you will enjoy the panoramic views of the
mountain and conventional country life, and paddling
through the deepest river gorge of the world. We have
camp at Seti Beni beach.
Day
3:
Watching the Nepali landscapes and ethno-cultures,
paddling on the huge waves and rapids; we monotonously
give up paddling after we approach the dam at Mirmighat,
the rafting put off point. Lunch served, equipment
packed and drive back to Pokhara(4 hours of driving
through the valley and steep hills).
Can you even imagine how did you pass the time?
Individual kayakers are welcome to Aakerti in order to
share their enthusiasm and craftsmanship. Don't worry

Day
1:
We meet at the Head office at 7AM with your personal
gears. This is a long road suffer so be prepared with
water, tit bit etc. we travel to the far west and arrive
in Surkhet very late/ early hours of the morning. You
are able to have a sleep here.
DAY
2:
After breakfast, we will take a truck as far the road
goes until about Lunch time. After lunch, we walk all
afternoon to Sauli, the put-in point . A great walk
which highlights just how "out there'' you really are.
You pass the local villages and spectacular scenery,
then……..you hear the river!
Day
3:
The river gives the team time to build and there is
enough challenging rapids and Water flow to allow for
learning errors. We still manage to get at least one
great class IV rapid in. We camp and get excited about
tomorrow.
Day
4:
This is the type of day that people imagine when they
think of Himalayan water. It is BIG and it is
continuous. We enter into the jungle corridor. This is a
narrowing jungle clad gorge and it is all ours. The team
building is put into full practice and when your guide
shouts "all forward" he really means it! Enjoy the ride
all day and camp in this sensational setting.
Day
5:
More of the same including the notorious GOD'S HOUSE
rapids. Don't forget to take in the bird life which is
equally as abundant as lush vegetation. Camp and relax.

6:
It isn't over yet! Keep paddling hard! You really are
experiencing the best of the west on yet another day of
great action and breath taking scenery. |
Day
7:
This is holiday after all , so we have programmed a rest
day. You can take a time to enjoy your surrounding and
relax on a sandy beach.
Day
8:
While paddling through the marvelous river gorge, we
have chance to face the challenge of heart-touched
rapids before the river's confluence with Seti(western
Seti).
Day 9:
The day of tranquility to enjoy the scenery and
enthno-cultural life the real Nepalese people. You will
also be inspired and instructed how to rolling and
running kayaks by our expert kayakers. So that, you will
have enjoyed not only the rafting but also the diverse
activities.
Day
10:
Having paddled so many days in this river of paradise,
we will unwillingly give up paddling after Lunch. Our
bus is waiting for us. Those who are going to Bardia
National Park for Jungle Safari(highly recommended),
this is the place for going to Bardia.
Day 11:
Arrive early in the morning in Kathmandu or
Pokhara. What a tremendous journey !!!
Kayaking Trip
Karnali river deserves both advanced and
intermediate Kayakers. Most rapids are pool -drop and
there are surfing waves almost all the way down the
river. The kayakers of Eco Nepal Adventure are world
class whether for rescue matter or to share their

1:
We
meet in our office in PKR or KTM at 6.30 AM with your
very light personal gears. Then we start driving to the
rafting starting point Damauli- really scenic road
suffer. After arrival at, pay attention to our guides'
briefing about safety matter and paddling dimension.
Now be ready with all energetic enthusiasm to paddling
down to the confluence with Seti, Lunch served and raft
down to Keshavatar , the first camp, encountering with
the challenge of numerous 3+ (4- in summer season)
rapids and enjoying the landscape and scenery of the
area. Have a fun at the camp with campfire and tranquil
night.
Day
2:
After Breakfast served, get set to paddle down to
Gaighat encountering with the challenge of Cock and Rock
rapid. Splashing each other and having enjoying the
views at every turn, unfortunately,

the
water flow has already brought us at Gaighat. Lunch
served and drive back to Ktm/ Pkr. You have also option
to go to Chitwan National Park for Jungle safari (highly
recommended).

Kayaking Trip
For kayaking trip, Seti is the most popular river in
Nepal for both learner and advanced kayakers. Most of
the rapids are pool drop and easy going. Especially for
those who are so interested to roll in rapids,Aoperates
kayak clinic trip(4 Days and 3 Nights = 1 Day in Lake
and 3 Days in river) as providing national and
international professional kayaking instructor along
with world class equipment.

Day
1:
We
meet in our Eco Nepal head office in Kathmandu and drive
to Balephi, the raft put in point (3hrs driving), Lunch
served, equipment packed and be ready to listen some
important safety and paddling briefing by our guides.
Immediately, the action starts- paddle forward and
harder. The three class rapids will be exercise for the
learner rafters. The area is scenic and panoramic. Camp
set at Dolalghat. Enjoy the Dinner and camp fire.
Day
2:
After having Breakfast we paddle down to encounter with
challenge of "Meatgrinder"i.e. IV+ rapids. A few meters
below here the Tamakoshi joins Sunkoshi on the left with
a beach on the confluence. There is another beautiful
Shiva Temple, where the local pilgrims come worship
every morning. We camp here.
Day
3:
Until the confluence with the Likhu Khola, we have short
easy rafting and rapids are only iii class. Thereafter,
very soon we face the iv + rapid "High Anxiety" with a
large hole on the left highway down and series of holes
at the bottom. Swim for a while splashing each other and
camp.
Day
4:
After facing a several 3+rapids, we stop for a while to
buy some necessary provisions and beers. Be ready to
paddle faster because we encounter with challenge of v
class rapids "Harkapur 2" and "Harkapur 3", the hardest
and biggest in this trip, which should be carefully
scouted. Camp set----- and just think what a great day
we have.
Day
5:
After the confluence with the Dudhkoshi river from
Mt.Everest, the river becomes wide in size. But very
soon we meet the "Jaws", iv rapid. |
Day
6:
Today is the hard day as you will encounter with V class
rapids"Rhino Rocks" and "Jungle Corridor" and a few
continuous white water. Waterfalls cascade on both sides
of the river. One water fall makes great spot for a team
shower. We set camp and enjoy the tranquil night.
Day
7:
Relax yourselves because you paddle too much for couple
of days.

8:
Great waves not a big rapid so you can ask our kayakers
to instruct you about how to roll.
Day
9:
Today we are going to face the last rapid of this trip
"Bigdipper" is a series of huge standing waves. A few KM
down we meet Arun and Tamur to form the river As
Saptakoshi(seven rivers) and we will have numerous waves
and whirlpools. For a short time we go to visit Barahi
temple in order to pick a so-looked small rock. We
finish our trip at Chatara and then drive back to
Kathmandu.
What a great
day we had!
Note: In Sep. it is seven day trip.
From Oct to Dec it is 9 day trip.
From March to May it is 10 day trip.
Kayaking
We invite all the individual kayakers to join our
each river expedition in order to share enthusiasm. We
also operate kayaking trip along with whitewater rafting
as providing world class kayaking equipment.

Day1:
Fly
to Biratnagar or drive from Kathmandu to Basantapur, the
put in point to expedition. This journey takes us 16
hrs. by bus or if we fly to Biratnagar, it is only three
hrs driving from Biratnagar to Basantapur.
Day
2-5:
We
then set forth for the rafting starting point. Having
left all the traffic noise and rushing people, you may
feel you are in heaven. We take rest and Lunch served.
Entire the trail, enjoy the picturesque views of real
Nepal, the country life style and their culture. The
bag-packs, rafts, kayaks and all the rest equipment will
be carried by our group of porters.
After four days of walking, we will be in the raft put
in point, camp set and prepare for the following day.
Day
6:
Having Breakfast, our guide and kayakers will give you
all the safety and paddling briefing. The real action
begins- paddle forward -harder and faster. We have Lunch
break and raft again. For the rest of the days you are
in turquoise blue iv-v white water paradise camp.

7:
This
is class ii-iv the whole day passing through villas and
spotting wild life particular to this area.
Day 8:
The action continues as you tackle more class ii-iv+
rapids all the day.
Day
9:
Relax and enjoy the mellow day on the river as you float
through the day with the occasional "all forward to
bring you back into action.
Day
10:
We know there is no way if there is anything we don't
like it but after a few hours paddling in this day, we
essentially give up paddling after we come to Chatara,
the rafting ending point and drive back to Kathmandu. |
