Holidays in France ?
Going by motorbike ?
Out for some camping ?
Dont forget there are now 4 motorbike-only camping sites in France!
Ive always got a great time, met a lot of new friends and drove around the scenic routes over there so please consider this page to be my personal contribution to these 4 great campsites.
1) Camping Moto France (Montclar-sur-Gervanne, Drôme)
Where: about 110 km south of Lyon, a few km northeast of Crest (Michelin map no. 77)
Exact location: D93 from Crest to Die, take the D70 at Mirabel-et-Blacons, just continue through the small town until you see a road on your left with a restaurant on the corner, just follow this road and you'll find the campsite on the right after about 5 km.

4) Camping Moto Dordogne (St. Aubin-de-Nabirat, Lot) * homepage: www.motocamp.com *
Where: about 50 km north of Cahors (Michelin map no.75)
Exact location: this is a new campsite and Ive been here only once so please forgive me any inaccuracies.
From the N20, southbound, take one of the roads leading to Gourdon (D673 or D1), drive through the town and take the D673 to Salviac, take the D6 on your right after 9 km and take the first road on your right again. After a few km youll see some farmers stables on your left, almost hiding a steep circular one-way road, follow this road and youll see the site left from the ruins of an old church.
