Work on the protection of the Congo Basin Rainforest in Africa while encompassing the ideas of the Bushmeat crisis, Deforestation, etc.

Work for Tanzanians

- Provide an alternative for all the locals involved. - Provide an alternative for cattle grazing. - Educate about solar ovens to avoid wood cutting. - Educate about what the problem with the rainforest is and work on project ideas that will help educate them. - Tree planting - TACARE - Photos as a symbol of what other countries projects are doing to help the rainforest as reinforcement.

Work for Other Countries Around the World

- Education of the people (motivation, alternatives, effects on animals, natives) - Support TACARE - Videos on Bushmeat - Pamphlets/Brochures/Booklets for information - Purchase rainforest land - Research (Library, internet - www.bushmeat.org , make sure whatever you find out on the internet is true and factual) - Symbol in your group to show progress (Neighborhood beautification with flowers and trees) - Letter Writing Campaigns (companies, government/politicians, newspapers - Letters to the Editor, magazines) - Pen Pals (photos, drawings, care packages with gifts, etc.) - Fundraising (plant trees in Tanzania in the name of Roots & Shoots group which raised the funds or have a certificate or photo to show ownership) - Articles (newspapers or magazines) - New Approaches (chimps, ozone layer, bushmeat) - Speakers - Mural
