Dr. Jane Goodall's Visit to the Summit

Dr. Jane Goodall visited the group, they first ate dinner at the Nymphenburg Castle in the city of Munich as seen below.

After the wonderful dinner, Jane and the group travelled back to the office where we all sat down with her and spoke to her about our plans for the global project and each of us spoke to her about our individual projects which we would carry on back in our own countries.

Each individual presented Dr. Jane with an oragami flower (which was taught to the participants by Naoyuki Miyabe from Japan) for each project that was chosen for each participant to go home and work on before the next summit. Each person presented two project ideas and on the office wall at JGI Germany, there is a big tree that was created and each person will have two flowers on the tree and as each project is completed, the flower will bud into a fruit!

Dr. Jane holds an oragami flower which was given to her to symbolize each participants promise for a project in their home country. Mr. H sits guarding the bowl full of oragami flowers on the floor.
