Many members have been curious about what happens to their memberships dues This is a very good question. Of the $13.00 that each members pays $1.00 goes to pay Your dues to WACA (World Airlines Clubs Association). The IIC also has to pay dues each year to WACA . As an official member of WACA, there are regional meetings that an IIC board member must attend as well as the annual WACA meeting. The dues you pay help offset the expense for your delegate to attend.
Though we try to do the monthly parties at no cost, but sometimes we are required to pay for certain items, such as appetizers or the setup of a bar. We do try these at a minimum. As the club becomes more involved and we do other things (such as day trips, etc.) we could incur some minimal costs there as well.
And last but not least, your dollars help pay for administrative cost such as stationary, business card, paper for flyers, postage and the like..
