  The Physical Environment :
Located in Southeast Asia, the Indonesian archipelago comprises more than 13,000 islands, witch streches almost 5,000 km across the equator.
Indonesia lies between the Pacific and the Indian ocean.
We can mention five groups of main islands :
  1. The Greater Sunda Islands.
    • Java
    • Sumatra
    • Kalimantan
  2. The Lesser Sunda Islands.
    • Bali
    • Lombok
  3. Sulawesi.
  4. Maluku.
  5. Irian Jaya.
