South Carolina Low Country Finds Archive

Check out these pictures of the intersting stuff I've found around Savannah, Ga. and Hilton Head Island.

Click here to see the page of Current Finds from the Low Country.

All of the items on this page were found on a beach near Savannah, Ga. Clockwise: To the immediate left is an unidentified emblem, possibly even British Military or civilian merchant line cap emblem. If you can ID this, let me know. Next are 4 dimes - 1905 Barber above a 1921 Merc. and two 1917's. Next is the front of an 1812-era artillery button. Then the three coins together are: 1847 half dime, 1842-o quarter, 1875-cc dime. Finally a 1782 1-real and what I think is a half real, worn smooth except for a "VII" along the edge on the front.
