I was first introduced to fitness at the age of 6 when my mom brought me to a rythmic gymnastics school in downtown Moscow, Russia where I spent the next seven years. I "switched careers"  when I was 13 and went on to learn tennis.  Shortly after I came to Cleveland, Ohio in 1997, my step and aerobics teacher suggested that I become a  fitness instructor, which was a great idea, given my gymnastics background. So I did, got certified with AAFA and have been teaching ever since.  My most recent passion is power vinyasa yoga. I am currently working on my 200-hour level yoga teacher certification under the guidance of one of the best teachers out there - Marni Task (Jivamukti yoga).  Additional studies have been with Mitchel Bleier (Anusara Yoga), Rolf Gates (Popwer Vynasa) and many wonderful teachers in the Cleveland area.  I'm getting ready to go to Mayu Tulum, Mexico for my Teacher Training with Baron Baptiste. Check out the links to some of my  favorite  yoga studios in Cleveland and other yoga-related sites.
I love to travel.  Click on the photo to see more pictures from my trips to Yellowstone, Grand Teton and Glacier National Parks and the most recent ones to Puerto Vallarta, Spain, Australia and Greece.

I teach Power Vinyasa Yoga. This challenging form of yoga is meditation in motion. It is the practice of asana flow with breath to help heal and detoxify body and mind.Using the time-honored wisdom of yoga, this practice is dynamic combination of strength and relaxation.

I first began practicing yoga for its physical benefits. But I soon discovered that yoga not only streched my body, it transformed my whole existence - it gave me the vision and the tools to live my life to its fullest and enjoy every moment one breath at a time. I love seeing the same transformation in my students who find their true potential through yoga.
Oh, and I love modern dance.
