Actually, it is much worse. The Census Bureau statistics depicted in this graph and in the tables are based on total legal and illegal migration figures that are now understood to UNDERESTIMATE immigration by 400,000 a year. In other words, total net migration in 2002 was nearly 50% higher than the numbers the Census Bureau used to make their projections!
