Most of my lunches and dinners were provided by church families
during my stay in Prudente. I ate very well! Every Tuesday night I ate
with "the five girls", as Dona Rosa called them. I still don't know
why she called them that, they're actually women! We're holding oranges
because they thought it was funny that I couldn't peel oranges with a
knife, they thought I would cut my thumb off every time... Matilde, I
