As I was in Brazil, I was blessed enough to have access to e-mail! It was a great tool to be able to communicate with my supporters and my family, I know that my mom felt much more comfortable hearing from me a couple times a week! Here are some excerpts from the e-mails that I sent to my supporters every week. These are my triumphs and defeats, my highs and my lows, my prayers and my praises, my raw feelings and emotions
about being a JEMS worker! As for Part One, I don't remember if it ever existed or maybe it just got lost! In any event, enjoy!
Here is the story of Sumiko Kanzaki's summer in South
America. She was one of my teammates and she was on the
multi-lingual team that traveled to Brazil, Paraguay, and
Argentina all in a period of 5 weeks! She has been gracious
enough to allow me to post these messages, which she sent out
to her supporters during her trip. These messages come from her
time in Pedro Juan Caballero, Paraguay, where they spent the
bulk of their time. I love her writing, it's so vivid and she
paints pictures with her words... It's a great testimony, I
hope you'll read on!
