My first stop was Vancouver and I will
never forget my delight as we broke through the clouds , and I saw the
snow-capped mountains , and frozen lakes. Then the hundreds of islands
off the coast. It was truly a magic moment.
My friend Sue picked me up from the airport
and although we had only exchanged one photo , we knew each other instantly
from a LONG way off. It was a warm and joyful meeting :-)
I also caught up with 2 other friends here,
Marvin and Geoff .
I visited Vancouver Island with Sue, Michael
and Karla. We also went to 2 museums, one on the mainland and one
in Victoria. I had a wonderful time here, Sue and I did lots of neat things
and just wish I had had a little more time. I did manage to get back to
stay with Sue and George again for a couple of days more before I flew
out to Australia again.
