People HELP!!!
Okay, so I'll start by apologizing to all dog lovers and by telling you all that [surprise!] I TOO AM HUMAN...I make mistakes (LOTS OF EM!) I DON'T have all the answers. I don't even have all the questions. But YOU might. And, as the little doggy reminds us, WE ARE MERE MORTALS, (although some of us have been considered goddesses by some, but we won't go into that here and now!...:) and a sense of humor sometimes helps to ease the pain. The fact is that WE SOMETIMES FEEL AS IF WE HAVE BEEN RUN OVER BY A TRUCK! And sometimes, we feel as if we KEEP repeatedly getting run over by the same truck.
You may notice that this "room" feels a little cold...Sometimes, we feel like the whole world is that way...all gray and concrete [or brick!]...and we can't see the beauty of the sunset on the water, or hear the birds sing, or smell the flowers as they bloom in spring. But in this room, I hope you find comfort and warmth, a shoulder to cry on, loving arms to hold and soothe you, and an anonymous friend.

Advice in these forums is generally NOT from professionals, but normal people offering their points of view, hoping to help give some perspective. If you feel you might need professional advice, PLEASE do not hesitate to seek it!)
"People Help" started out as a message forum on a small BBS, after an online friend confided in me that she had taken an overdose. Being the nameless, faceless, cyber type friends, I only knew the town she lived in, near my own, and her first name...It was a tense situation, but with a happy ending. But for each happy ending, there are others that end tragically. I have spent my life dealing with suicidal tendencies (not the band!) and my son, who graduated from a small-town class of 28 students, lost two of his best friends to suicide; boys who blew their brains out while suffering a case of teen angst.
I THINK THAT SUX!!!
Please email me if you don't see the link you're looking for. I'll see what I can do to help.
