I visited Cozumel in November of 1997. We stayed at the Allegro Diamond Club, which I think is now only called the Diamond Club. It was a beautiful 4 star resort on the southern most settled spot on the island. It should have been called a 5 star. I somehow got an incredible deal considering the price changes that have happened since I was there. The prices have basically doubled since 97. It is still probably the best spot on the island from what I saw.
Some different views around the resort.
The main entrance and dining hall, from the rear.
Each bungalow contains 8 nice units with balconies A view from the beach facing south east.
Another view a little more east from the resort. On the east side is the Paradise Cafe~ a must visit.
Relaxing with a cold Corana at Paradise Cafe. Having a chat with the local Paramedics.
A few pics from the Lobster cruise, great fun! I think that the captain is Todd M's long lost brother. What do you think?
