The Strong's concordance lists several meanings for nakedness.It clarifies that nakedness is NOT a sin. Also, the NIV is an up-to-date version that uses the origonal Hebrew and Arameic texts.We know much more now than the scolars in King James'time. Accuracy is the key.We worship in the nude, just like Adam and Eve before the fall.

Hi buddabelly! Good to come across your site. My background is Pentecostal, later Anglican, now Charismatic church here in the UK. Agree with the sentiments about nakedness and naturism wholeheartedly, but wish that we didn't have to hammer on about it so much - that it was just part of being "natural" without all the sexual connotations and overtones. Will it ever happen - I doubt it... Actually, I reckon we're in danger of losing the plot ourselves, if we over-emphasize Christian naturism to the exclusio of all else. Jesus called us all to be his devoted followers and to be fishers of men, and to take the gospel to the farthest ends of the earth - to every nation, which I take to mean both here in our own community - and in all the thousands of unreached people groups - and THAT should really be our real magnificent obsession, not naturism. So I guess that we have to temper our enthusiasm for real "natural" living with our high calling to be His ambassadors to all men and women everywhere, and let the Hol Spirit guide us as to our proper priorities. Can't say I'm really living up to that yet fully, but I'm working towards it (as they say)! Christian greetings from England.

Liked your site. Not being a heterosexual I didn't understand your comments about the joys of grandparenthood, but that's okay. Most of you have no idea of the joys and blessings of being God's chosen Gay people. Question: what is FLF? I'm trying to put together a course on nudist spirituality for our church (it's an Apertarian Church called the Church of the Naked Shepherd) and I am trying to hunt down any and all references to nudism in the Bible. I am glad found I found this site. Nudism has always made me feel good. I used to swim nude at YMCA but that has been changed. I would like to meet someone in Janesville or Madison , Wi area to paricpate in nudism with nice people. I am 63 but youg in heart and mind. Thanks for the service.

Hi! I got your e-mail and "clicked" and did get to your home-page on geocities. Very nice. I, too, am a Christian. You asked where I live: Milwaukee. I used to take service calls to Hancock-Houghton in the U.P. Also, went camping once with the family at Michigami Resevoir. No one was there, and the water was warm and clean. Bet you could go skinny-dipping, there! Do you know of where I am speaking? Camping is FREE there because the land is owned by the electric power company. That was back in the 70 s, but I think I could find it again, if I had to. You have GOT to take a weekend "OFF" and come down to the Mazo beach sometime this summer! There are from 3 to 4 hundred nude people on this great big beach on the Wisconsin River on a Saturday or Sunda afternoon. You cannot sleep in your car at night and now, they say, you cannot leave or come at night, but you can bring a tent and camp-out on the beach at night. For more information, there are a few naturist sites on the web describing Mazo with gre ter detail. Some even have pictures. I have been going there since 1983, and the authorities do NOT hassle or arrest you. Many people are there with their families, all nude, playing different games, but mostly volleyball in the sand. Hey! I am a Norwegian 32 year old Pentecostal man, I am married to Lisa, have 3 wonderful kids (age: 4, 4 and 6 years). It is good to meet someone like me on the net! My wife is no nudist, but we do visit cloting optional areas together anyway. She has her cloes on while I and the kids are nude! God bless you!

I can't say I'm a fundamentalist Christian, but it's sad that people who believe in the beauty of God's creation also believe that the body housing those "created in His image" is sinful.
