I Took the Road Less Traveled...

"Mommy, take me to a road I've never been to before..."

That's what started it all. Ever since I can remember, I've loved going places I've never been before. Discovering new things. I call it the 'traveling itch'. It's an itch that MUST be scratched!

My father is a truck driver and my mother has always loved going places and seeing things. 200 miles is easily a small distance for my family.

Many families have weekend outings to places like waterparks, amusement parks, parades etc etc etc. We always drove some distance to see a museum or see where the glacier went through...only fitting in waterparks SOMETIMES.

Now that I think about it, I guess my life is just one big travel. I don't mind one bit. My head is full of so much history, it's not even funny. I can't ever see myself just sitting around.

I mentioned earlier that my father is a truck driver. He's currently working for Werner, a GREAT company.

Two years ago my parents took me out of school for medical reasons and started homeschooling me. I get to travel more then ever now. I've been riding in the truck with my father since October (1997). I spent my halloween in Massachusetts, not far from Salem. I also spent a lot of time in Dodge City, KS. I've been all over the US of A. There are 14 states I haven't been to yet. But, that number will change, no doubt. Not only is this one HUGE Geography lesson, but it's also a history lesson!

Many people object to me being on the road and out of school, but hey, what can I say? The world is my playground. While others are cooped up in school reading about places, I'm visiting them.

So, now I've created this page. I thought perhaps other people (possibly people like me, who love to travel or just anyone who's planning on taking a trip soon) would like to read about the places I've been.

This page is under construction, but like all homepages...construction never stops. So please be patient and visit back often for updates.
