The
building that shelters Garibaldi's Historical and
Cultural Museum was built in 1888. It was of property of
the Italian Society and it had the social function of to
unite and to protect the Italian immigrants that were
arriving here. In the decade of 1960, the Italian Government donated the building to Garibaldi's community, to be used with only and exclusive cultural character. Thus, in 1985, Historical and Cultural Museum had its space. |
