Kiora, I hit on your site while I was looking for an e-mail address for the Juggler's Rest in Picton. You mentioned the photos of fire-eating which I assume didn't turn out. Dear Suzanne, thank you for sharing your experiences on Bali. I am writing this mail as I quit reading through your Bali journal at a point where you mentioned Lovina. It is a shame you did not take a swim into that "filthy" water: if you would have, you might have not ced that after about 100 meters the vegetation clears out the water and you have the most splendid crystal clear water (provided there has not been too much rain) with a cliff dropp-off full of beautiful tropical fish. I think you missed out on one of the cheapest and nicest things of Bali: its marine life. Also, Lovina is great for organising diving/snorkelling trips to Pulau Menjangan, a trip you would otherwise perhaps not undertake. I am sure you can enjoy your stay in such places more if you get in touch with local people in a casual way. You'll notice they can make your life much more fun! Best regards, Peter Tavoly

Found your site while searching for information on British Airways' RTW tickets. If you are managing to include Vietnam, why not Laos? Vientiane is colourful, safe and relaxing. And try to include a few days in Japan - it's not so expensive as its repu ation. Good luck on your travels.
