It's hard to believe that this webpage was begun over two years ago. Over that time I've added quite a lot to it, but not nearly all that I have wanted. I'm sure that I'll be adding things to it now and then, but by the time I finish my Masters degree I'll be looking to revamp this site entirely, and give the final additions to it I've been hoping to do. Presently I have one more full year of study before I graduate with my Masters in Sociology. I'm planning thereafter to apply for a post overseas working for the Foreign Service. If not, I will likely continue to pursue my present occupation with the University in Student Affairs. Already I've been given an opportunity to teach undergraduate studies upon graduation, but I'm not sure for the moment that it's what I want. This I can say for certain -- I'll be traveling at every possible opportunity.
If I can make a comment to anyone reading this who has not taken the opportunity to travel. Do so. There is an education out there no institution can compare itself to. I believe there are some things in this world that cannot be appreciated second hand. To me, knowledge is like an old pair of jeans handed down to us. Understanding is the person who wore the jeans first. Wisdom is knowing when to go out and get your own pair. Experience is no heirloom,... so travel!
