 fter five years, I am packing my bags and leaving my old life in Japan and getting ready for something new. My immediate plans are to spend two-three months backpacking around Southeast Asia. Together with my wife, we will visit Northern Thailand and from there into Laos. Then we plan to head south for some sun and sand before heading down to Malaysia. In Malaysia, Langkawi, Penang and the Cameron Highlands are on the agenda. I'll report back about how everything went once I get back to England. That should be in May 2000. One of my plans includes making available an extra room in my house where visitors can stay. I will also try to help out with details of study courses etc.

Second-Hand Shop

When I first get back to England, my wife and I will stay at my mother's house for a while. (e-mail me for the address). While we are there, I will be searching for a place to live and to open up a second-hand shop along with my brother. At the moment I'm thinking of Bournemouth as a possible site, but I'll add more details when I know for sure.
