L'adret de Ribas
Following our overnight in Mougins, we set out for the
village of Gras, in the heart of Provence. Tracy's sister, Laura, rented
a villa near Gras, where she and her husband Ward and children Edie and
Alex were vacationing. The family generously offered us the guest house
for a week. What a change from the hectic pace of Beirut. We dined on sumptuous
Provençal dishes prepared by the cook, lounged around the pool,
and drank in the scenery shown below. In addition to lounging and dining,
we took several day trips to surrounding places. But mostly we simply enjoyed
the pleasure of good company in beautiful surroundings. The panorama below
show the villa and its impressive vantage point on southern France.
