Le Reve Swimming Resort is owned and operated by Mr. and Mrs. Antonio Balagot. Armed only with guts and determination, the spouses Antonio and Luisa Balagot started constructing Le Rêve Resort's first swimming pool on April 1984. After six months, the resort started its commercial operation with only one junior size Olympic pool and three cottages.
The response of the public was tremendous. Soon, Le Rêve became the favorite weekend destination of the inhabitants from the surrounding municipalities. Thus, after a few months, the spouses constructed the kiddy pool.
On 1987, the Diving Pool and a water slide were added. This time people from Davao and Cotabato City started to notice. Le Rêve Resort became a by-word this part of Mindanao.
On 1989, another swimming pool equipped with giant water slides and the multi-purpose hall was added.
On 1992, The boating lagoon, the track for horseback riding, and more sheds was constructed.
Today, Le Rêve Resort is the premier tourist destination of the province of Cotabato. Its regular customers came from as far as Davao del Norte, Davao City, Cotabato City, and recently Gen. Santos City due to the cementing of the Tacurong-Makilala highway. It welcomes an average of five thousand visitors a month.
It also host several athletic competition on swimming such as the Davao del Sur provincial meet, the Cotabato Province provincial meet and the Cotabato LGU Olympics. It is also a favorite destination of biology students because of its natural forest habitat.
