Maral Honarbin was born in February 25th, 1983, in Tehran, Iran. When She was 7, she started taking Orf lessons, a short course about music for children. At age 8, she chose the instrument Setar and she started taking lessons with Mrs. Fariba Hedayati. She took some lessons with Ostad Jalal Zolfonoon for a few months. She and her family moved to Canada when she was 14. Since then, she has been wrking hard to keep what she knows and what she can do. Now at age 16, she is still working hard and she always will.
