Leaving the Country:
Below are some ways to leave the country from Bandung.
In each case you will have to pay an exit tax of around Rp 1 ,000,000 (in Batam
it is less).
Option #1: Fly with Deraya Air to Halim Airport in Jakarta. Take about a 45 min taxi ride to Sukarna-Hatta International Airport and take any of the numerous international flights.
5/1/02 Pelita Airlines now goes from the Bandung Airport to Soekarno-Hatta airport twice a week - Thursdays and Saturdays. The schedule from Bandung to Jakarta is 6:30am arriving at 7am. I think the return is around 3:55pm arriving at 4:25pm. It cost around Rp 380,000 for a round trip.
Option #2: Fly with Merpati to
Surabaya (with the Bali flight below) and take one of the following
International flights to Singapore
· Singapore Airlines 12:40 pm & 5:50 pm
· Garuda Airlines 7:25 am
· Bourag Air 12:50 pm
Option #3: Fly with Merpati to
Bali and take one of the many International flights from Denpasar. If you get a
round trip ticket you will only be able to stay in Bali for one month.
Option #4: Fly with Merpati to
Batam via Pelembang. Take the 45 min ferry ride to Singapore.
