- Bandung Indah Plaza (BIP) - This was Bandungs first real indoor mall and has two department store, a movie theater on the top floor and a number of smaller shops and food places.
- Istana Plaza - This is the newest mall with the only ice skating rink in town. It is located on the corner of Jl. Pasir Kaliki & Pajajaran. It has a Hero, Rimo, and Ace Hardware store plus 4 floors of other stores such as a couple toy stores, a few book stores. This mall opened in December 2001.
- Primer Plaza - has the Primir supermarket on the first floor with KFC & Mcdonalds and then a number of other shops along with a Timezone video arcade on the thrid floor. This mall opened in either 1998 or 1999.
- Bandung SuperMall -
this is
perhaps the largest mall in town with a Metro
department store and and good size amusement area behind the large glass window below.
Also in the Super Mall is a great place to eat called "Spagetties". The Bandung Supermall was opened in October 2001. - Alun-alun - center of town tradional sort of place.
- Toko Setiabudhi - on Jl. Setiabudhi No 46 across from Mcdonalds. It should be called Toko Setia-Buleh for all the whities shop here for it has the best selection in town for foriegn foods.
- Primer - Located on Jl. Cihampelas.
- Hero - Located all over Bandung but its closest branch in the north is at the Flamboyant Center between Jl Sukajadi and Jl Setiabudhi..
- Tops Supermarket - The closest one in the north is at Setra Sari Mall.
Household Goods
- Borma - this is sort of like your Five & Dime store and there are several of these around Bandung. One is located on Jl. Setiabudi No 148.
Speciality Shops
- Rumah Bagus - sells all sorts of natural looking gift items like frames, dried flowers, cards, simple furniture and the like. (Setrasari Mall)
- Agape Quilts - sells handmade quilts, dolls and other nice gift items. (Jl. Suria Sumantri of the first floor of the AEC or American English Center building)
