This is the train station closest to the Ahmed's house :). Straight ahead is the direction towards the city centre and Simonstown is in the other direction. I love this train line 'cause it travels between two oceans (Indian and Atlantic). This was the start of our 'Tourist Week' so Sier is studying his 'Lonely Planet Guide To Cape Town.' We travelled to the city to visit the first fort built in South Africa (in 1652 - or something like that). After that we travelled the entire line to Simonstown (that train ride lasted about an hour!). The clouds in this picture soon cleared and we were treated to a lovely summers' day :)
