Don't like it! Don't visit
      First of all I am a Turks Islander and proud to be one. I am totally disgusted by all the degrading comments that are said about our islands. Visitors come here with the wrong concept of these islands. We are a developing country and we may not be completely up to standard of long-term tourist destinations such as the Bahamas and Jamaica but we are getting there. Tourists come here thinking that everything will be smooth-sailing and no problems will be encountered. That's a myth and it can happen anywhere one travels. Examples such as lost luggage, cancelled reservations, etc. So the hotel that you're staying at isn't what you expected. So there a several others to choose and transfer to. Beaches has too many kids, Allegro's dull and boring, there's nothing to do. Folks, the Turks & Caicos Islands are for those who truly want to just get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and enjoy good island food, snorkeling, boating and fishing at their leisure. If that's not what you had in mind, don't come!!!
