Telephone Hell
      I am an active internet user living in Providenciales. The countless disruptions are enough to make me move. The amount of money Cable & Wireless (Careless & Worthless) makes from their internet is astounding. The Island up until recently had only a half a T-1 line serving over one thousand users!!! Each person paying a minimum of $35.00 for a mere 10 hours of service a month. A dedicated modem (if you can call it that) is $300 a month. If you do a quick calculation C&W is raping it residents of 60 to 80 Grand a month in internet fees for a half a T-1 line!!! This service in the states costs at most $700.00 a month depending on hardware and distance to the ISP.

      Last week the mail server went because a moron employee tripped over the Mail Server. Now can't they anticipate such mistakes or is management afraid of working with the islanders? If they punish an islander for being stupid do they get thrown off the island? That is what I hear over and over.

      I could go on and on but it really is not good for my heart condition.

      Wake up Cable & Wireless!!!!!
