Ah, The
Music
A
Prelude lasting 30 minutes or until the ceremony begins,
composed of a medley of airs. A favorite song or
traditional air can be included here, or used as special
music later in the ceremony. The prelude ends as the
mothers are seated, or as the men of the wedding party
position themselves, and the music becomes more festive in
preparation for the processional. A special piece at
this point such as "Our Celtic Love" can also
serve as a cue to the bridal party that the processional
is about to begin.

For a
small wedding party, or a short aisle, only one march is
needed, unless the "Bridal March from Lohengrin"
(Here Comes the Bride) is used. In that case, or for larger
wedding parties, a second march is often used for everyone
preceding the bride. Other marches suitable for the
processional include.

During the ceremony, special
music may be used at various times, such as during a
candle-lighting or other special part of the ceremony.
Or a favorite piece of music can be used alone simply for
its beauty or special meaning to the couple, perhaps
during or after a poem or other reading.
Music for a Catholic Mass must
be specially coordinated for each service, in consultation
with the priest.
For the preparation and
performance of special music the rate is: $30.00 per
song
(if the requested song is one
already known to us there would be no extra charge)

entertainment for you and your guests to enjoy, woven
together with a healthy amount of audience participation and
humor. Instrumentation would include, vocals, Celtic
harp, classical guitar, Irish tin whistles, mandolin, and
bodhran. We will, also, work closely with your best
man or master of ceremonies to ensure that all your special
friends and speakers are presented at the most opportune
time.

This is
an exclusive service, a song composed just for you, based on
your thoughts about each other. Whether for your wedding day
or your anniversary, preserve your thoughts of love in
music. We will perform the song during the ceremony and/or
the reception. You will be presented with a beautiful copy
of lyrics and music. Because of the time required to write
the lyrics, compose the music and rehearse for performance,
we require a minimum of two months advanced booking.
A recording of your special song can also be provided.
