My Background

I was born in a small town in India called Jhansi, but my father, being a railway man, stayed for short periods in Bhopal, Agra, Sholapor and finally settled in Bombay (Mombai) India. I started my schooling at the Bombay Scottish High School and completed a Marine Engineering Apprenticship at Alcock Ashdown in Bombay. I joined the Merchant Navy as a Marine Engineer. I emigrated to England in 1959, and in 1963 immigrated to Canada. I retired recently after working for several years as an Inspector of Boiler and Pressure Vessels for the Alberta Government. in Alberta, Canada. I am at present a realtor with Sutton Realty

My Interests

I guess the best - and fastest - way to really get to know me is by discovering what I like. So here goes . . . I am an avid golfer with about a sixteen handicap. I also like Ballroom Dancing, have served on the executive of the University of Calgary Balroom Dance Club and have been with the club for over six years. I like to travel, read, play chess and surf the internet
