My Summer in the Lower Ozarks
People
Spending 24 hours a day with the same group of people, you can get pretty close pretty quick. That's what happened with us. About 25 people lived in The Projects, and we did everything together. We were so far from any paved roads that anytime someone was going to town, at least one other person would want to go along.
One weekend, a group of us went to the St. Louis Zoo and the Missouri Botanical Gardens.

Brad Russell, Erin Meier, and Mike Williams were the three other members of the botany crew.
While in Missouri, I met the love of my life, Bootypants. She was a stray that showed up at The Projects, and someone just had to take her home. After taking her to the vet and cleaning her up, I was the lucky guy.
